RAK Wednesday

Random Acts of Kindness

There is nothing more amazing than surprising someone with something unexpected.  Be it a stranger or a long-time friend.

One of our family favorites is to take a bottle of Gatorade out to each of the guys that pick up our trash each week.  As he girls ran out the bottles this morning, they had the (brilliant) idea to make every Wednesday a RAK day.

So, we are inviting you to join in with us.  Think of something random and kind to do for someone today.  I promise it will bless you as much as it will bless them.

In response to your twitter... Ron's flying out the door to make his meeting reminds me of the time in college where he overslept for a final... and still managed to keep a 4.0 in the course!!!! He's a rock star! :)

In response to your twitter about Ron running out the door for a meeting, it reminded me of the time in college where he overslept for an early final, and still managed to get there and pull off a 4.0 for the semester. He is a rock star!!! :)

Megan -
He said the same thing to me (after he caught his breath and called me from the car!) -- Didn't I do this in college???

LOL!

I love Random Acts of Kindness. We had someone at church give us a $25 grocery store gift card. We still have no clue who it was.

It is my goal to pay it forward.

Last year I made gifts for some of the teachers at Alex's old school and left them on their desks anonymously.

What a great idea to teach the kids. We are currently working on the selfish issue and giving to others instead.

In honor of Veteran's day we are heading out to rake some leaves for our fellow men and women who serve our country. It's a day early on the RAK, but since we are having so much fun doing our RAK, we will probably find something to do for someone tomorrow as well. Have a blessed day in this wonderful country, where we are free to worship and free to love!! Thank you to all who serve and my God bless you abundantly!! Shelby
