Did I Read that Right?

Yesterday I purchased a used (and vintage) reading textbook for Abigail.  It is full of classic stories and poems.

On in the inside front cover is stamped:

STATE TEXTBOOK PURCHASING BOARD

Part of today's reading especially caught my eye.  

We Thank Thee

Dear God, we Thank thee for the night,

And for the pleasant morning light;

For rest and food and loving care,

And all that makes the world so fair.

Help us to do the things we should,

To be to others kind and good;

In all we do, in work and play,

To grow more like Thee every day.

I wonder if this edition is still being circulated?  Hmmmm.
