I just woke up from my nap. (hair is a dead give-a-way)

Extreme Room Makeover
Today our project was to makeover Lauren's room into Gabe's room. And by our, I mean Grandma painted, moved the furniture and.....pretty much everything else. I acted as Foreman.
Love ya Mom.
Lauren will be moving in with Abigail, Gabe will move to Lauren's (old) room and little bambino will have the nursery. Madeline stays put in her current room.
I know, its a bit confusing. Something about me nesting includes having everyone play musical rooms. It is what it is. And fortunately, the kiddos love it!
Here we are getting started. Well, Grandma is getting started.
Ahhhhh. Much more boyish.
Trust me, that's the sunlight reflecting off the wall. My Mom is the master painter! ;)

Alphabet Song
We interrupt our regularly scheduled program to bring you Gabe saying his ABC's.
(anyone else hear an "elbow" in there?)

Poopy Bi-Ber
At just-before-7 this morning, we hear Gabriel talking from his crib so Ron heads in to see what's up.
(can I preface this story by saying: glad it was him and not me!)
Gabe apparently was saying, "poopy bi-ber" and when he received no response decided to take matter into his own hands....and I mean that quite literally, pun completely intended.
Ron walks in to find him standing stark naked in The Tent. He has shed his zip-up, footed pajamas and his diaper is discarded near the south end of said tent. A nice size -- warning: graphic language which may not be appropriate for all audiences -- turd is sitting in the middle of the mattress.
For our future reference, Gabe is so over babbling. When he talks, its best you listen.

Boys Will Be.....
Anyone tired of this yet? Cause I'm not. I'm really not.
Remember Beating the Mulch?
Oh wait, that wasn't my son. That was an unruly-child-with-no-clothing that I found via You Tube. Never mind. My mistake.
How about this one then?
Or the one where someone (most certainly not me) forgot to Double Check the Lock?
His latest shenanigan involves the trash. It would. He loves to find little (or big) trinkets around the house and chuck them. Sometimes he even "hides" them under a cereal box so they are hard to spot. I've taken to donning cleaning gloves and searching through each bag before I take it out to the garage.
(Oh, please tell me you didn't just believe that. Really? I don't even own those yellow gloves!)
Today's discovered treasure was 2 socks (if only they had matched!), the blender lid (that's where that is!) and the popcorn popper. Yes, the popcorn popper.
When I went to let him know what I'd found, I might have found him eating a half-eaten, somewhat burnt, breakfast waffle.....from deep in the trash. Might.

Payback Time
Recently, Gabriel had a sleepover with his cousin Maximus. We met them at church the next morning and my son was looking slightly Amish.

(not that there is anything wrong with looking Amish - its just....we're not Amish.)
Anyway, we had Maximus spend the night on Saturday night and brought him to church on Sunday.....looking like Winnie the Pooh threw up all over him.
And with his hair parted in the middle. Just. Because.
Paybacks, people. Paybacks.
